Important Information for Installation Instructions of Air Ductless Mini-Split Systems
Unless you are EPA certified to handle refrigerant, it is unlawful to perform any parts of the installation that involves refrigerant.
You must be EPA certified to A) attach gauges to your cooling system and pull a vacuum on it with a vacuum pump, B) open the service valve to release the pre-charged refrigerant into the system prior to startup, and C) fine tune the charge by adding or removing refrigerant.
Have a licensed, certified heating and air conditioning professional perform these steps for you. This is standard startup procedures for heating and cooling equipment and can be performed simply by almost any qualified contractor.
