If necessary, a Rinnai FOT-158 kit can be used to run the exhaust line vertically between the flue manifold and the appliance. The maximum vent length allowed is 13 feet, and the maximum vertical length allowed is 8 feet.  A Rinnai Direct Vent Wall Furnace cannot have a vertical flue termination.
