GOVERNMENT PAYS HUGE TAX CREDITS FOR HIGH EFFICIENCY EQUIPMENT!


If you buy equipment that meets the efficiency

standards listed below, the government will

pay up to 30% of the cost, including

installation supplies & labor up to $1,500!

On February 17, 2009 the American Recovery and Reinvenstment Act was signed which provides homeowners large tax credits for many energy efficient home improvements placed in service during 2009 and 2010. This includes many of the heating and cooling products available here at Alpine Home Air Products.
  • To receive the tax credits, improvements made in 2009 will be claimed on your 2009 taxes (filed in 2010), or in 2010 (filed in 2011) by using the new version of IRS Tax Form 5695.

  • For record keeping purposes, save your receipts and the manufacturer certification statement (spec sheet, AHRI certificate or GAMA certificate), although they do not need to be submitted with your tax return to receive the tax credits.

  • If a product qualifies for two tax credits, for example a furnace with an AFUE of 95% and an energy efficient circulation fan, the total tax credit will be 30% of the cost, not 60%.
