Goodman CAUF Uncased Coil Front

A vertical evaporator coil is used for furnaces in the vertical position (upflow or downflow). Typically an uncased coil would be selected when adding air conditioning or a heat pump system to an existing furnace. If you are purchasing and installing a new furnace at the same time as the air conditioning or heat pump system, then a cased evaporator coil would be best.
