Zone Control Systems
Shop from the following product categories:
Forced Air Zone Controls Composite
Forced-Air Zone Controls
  • Zoning controls can be added to any forced heating or cooling system as an accessory. A zone controlled system allows you to adjust the temperature in various parts of your home independently, a luxury you might enjoy. Each area of the home will have its own thermostat, and you can set the temperature for what you like for heating and cooling for just that area. For example, you might want your living room and dining room to be set at 71 degrees, but maybe you like it warmer in your bedroom at 75 degrees.

You get to pick how many zones you want to have, from two zones on up, with most homes using two to six zones. The components required are:

    • electronic zone dampers to be installed inline with the ductwork
    • zone control panel (the “brain”)
    • thermostats for each zone
Hydronic Zone Controls Composite
Hydronic Zone Controls
  • A hydronic zone system is an optional upgrade accomplished by adding accessories to a standard boiler heating system. A zone controlled system allows the users to operate and regulate the heat in the home on a room-by-room or area-by-area basis. A zone control system consists of:

    • control panel
    • one or more cirulating pumps
    • zone valves (optional on some setups)
    • a thermostat for each zone.
