Rather than using large square outlets and bulky metal ductwork, high-velocity systems employ a miniaturized system that ensures a subtle, unobtrusive installation. The small round outlets which have an inner diameter of only 2 inches, dispel air through the ceiling or floor and are available in a variety of finishes. The ductwork is small flexible tubing that weaves between spaces in the walls, ceilings or floors similar to a central vacuuming system. This system not only guarantees significant installation advantages, but is nearly unnoticeable to the roving eye.
