Air Cleaners & Filters
-
Air filtration units capture airborne particles such as dust, pollen, bacteria, dander, spores, etc.. Some units are non-electric media and some have combined media and electric functionality, which perform even better. Performance is measured in terms of efficiency at trapping micron-sized particles. (A human hair is 100 microns in diameter.) Removing a higher percentage of contaminants from the air may reduce the incidence of associated illnesses and allergy symptoms.

Humidifiers
-
Dry winter air in the home can cause dry skin, nose and throat discomfort and static electricity. It also can cause wood floors and trim in your home to shrink, walls to crack and wood instruments to warp. When a furnace runs in the winter it consistently dries the air. Replenish moisture levels in your home by installing a whole-house humidifier.

Dehumidifiers
- A dehumidifier is a self contained unit that removes excess moisture from a home's air. Inside the dehumidifier, a fan draws the home's air through a filter and over cold coils of the unit to condense the moisture. When the moisture on the coils increases, it drips off of the coils into the collection container. This moisture then drains out of the collection container. The dry air then passes through the hot coil to heat it back up to room temperature. The dehumidifiers available here can attach to your home's duct system to automatically dehumidify the whole house, a separated living area, or both.
