High-Velocity Air Handlers

An air handler installs in the home and connects to the ductwork to provide cooling or electric heat (optional) indoors.  The air handler is completely preassembled, and consists primarily of a multi-speed fan, built-in evaporator coil and electrical controls.  Depending on the model they can be installed vertically, horizontally or in a downflow application.  If winter heating is needed, an optional electric heater coil can easily be installed into the air handler or ductwork.

Select if:

• You will be installing your high-velocity air handler with an air conditioning or heat pump condenser that uses
  R-410A refrigerant.

Select if:

• Your high-velocity air handler will be installed vertically inside the home, attic, crawlspace, basement, etc.
  And / or...
• You have (or are planning on having) an air conditioning or heat pump condenser that is rated at 13 SEER efficiency and uses R-22 refrigerant.
• You have 220 volts AC available.
