The heat pump (condenser) will sit outside the home, and the air handler is located inside the home.
You have ducting in the home (or will be installing) to transfer the air. (The same ducting can be used for heating and cooling.)
You want your heating and cooling to be provided by the same equipment, which will operate on electricity exclusively.
You would like equipment with verylow operating costs for heating your home when the outside temperature is above 25°F. (A heat pump can be paired with a secondary source of heat for providing additional heat when temperatures are below 25°F.)
