Split-System Combination Deals

Select if:

• You are adding or replacing standard central air conditioning to a forced air duct system.
  And / or...
• The air conditioner (condenser) will site outside the home, and the air handler is located inside the home.
• You have ducting in the home (or will be installing) to transfer the air.  (The same ducting can be used for heating and cooling.)
• Your home's heating will be provided by electric resistance heater coils installed in the air handler.

Select if:

• You are adding or replacing  a split-system heat pump to a forced air duct system.
  And / or...
• The heat pump (condenser) will sit outside the home, and the air handler is located inside the home.
• You have ducting in the home (or will be installing) to transfer the air.  (The same ducting can be used for heating and cooling.)
• You want your heating and cooling to be provided by the same equipment, which will operate on electricity exclusively.
• You would like equipment with verylow operating costs for heating your home when the outside temperature is above 25°F.  (A heat pump can be paired with a secondary source of heat for providing additional heat when temperatures are below 25°F.)
