The Aprilaire 1213 Media Upgrade Kit allows the Aprilaire 2200 Media Air Cleaner to use Aprilaire Media 213 filters, which are manufactured for the Aprilaire 4200 Media Air Cleaner.  The Aprilaire 213 filters are an improvement over the Aprilaire 201 filters originally manufactured for the Aprilaire 2200, offering MERV 13 filtration. The replacement filters come in a two-pack and an eight-pack. This upgrade kit will not work with units manufactured before 1985.
