Little Giant NXTGen™ VCMX-20ULST

The Little Giant NXTGen™ VCMX-20ULS has an oil resistant tank and check valve that eliminates the problem of cracked tanks from exposure to oil.  The pump features a safety switch that can be connected to shut down the air system, or wired to an alarm to warn of possible tank overflow.  The VCMX-20ULS is rated for high-efficiency condensing gas furnace applications that produce an acidic condensate.  The VCMX-20ULST also comes with 20' of 3/8" drain tubing.

Air conditioners and high-efficiency furnaces have a water drain on them, as water is collected while they operate. This water drains out a tube to your floor drain. But what if you don't have a floor drain? Then you can use this condensate pump to run the drain tube anywhere you like, such as in a sink, or into a drain pipe. This condensate pump attaches next to the furnace or air handler, where it collects the water. You connect a 3/8" drain tube to the pump, and run it where ever you like, including veritically overhead, since it can pump the water against gravity. An automatic float-switch turns it on periodically to empty the drain water.
