This is a sheet metal transition kit with the sheet metal bender. If you already own a sheet metal bender then you may prefer KIT081 sheet metal transition kit without the bender.

A sheet metal transition connects a new furnace, air handler, or evaporator coil to existing ductwork. This kit includes the sheet metal bender,  sheet metal pieces and screws you'll need to get the job done. See the sheet metal transition kit installation video which shows step-by-step how to fabricate a custom sheet metal transition.

The kit can connect a span of up to 14.5 inches, such as between the top of a new furnace and the bottom of the existing ductwork. A transition can also be fabricated when adapting a return air plenum (duct) when installing an air cleaner.
