This air cleaner mounts in any position in the return air duct and requires no electrical connections. Honeywell's Charged-Media filter captures particles as small as 0.3 microns. Pressure sensors signal when filter change is requried based on increased pressure drop at filter. Filter change status is transmitted to wall-mounted AIRWATCH indicator. The RF AIRWATCH indicator is included. Filter replacement approximately every 10-12 months. Select an air cleaner with dimensions that most closely match your furnace's or air handler's dimensions where the air cleaner will be installed. Most air cleaners attach to a furnace's side, or air handler's bottom or top (depending which is the air inlet). Therefore, select an air cleaner with a length that does not exceed a furnace's depth, or air handler's air-inlet dimensions. (Viewing an upright furnace or air handler from the side, depth is considered the space from left to right.) View online spec sheets for dimensions of furnaces and air handlers sold here.

Your order will also include Alpine's exclusive installation video on DVD! Watch as a pro tackles the project from start to finish. You'll have all your questions answered as you see how easy it is to install yourself.

Also available is Alpine's Sheet Metal Transition Kit (AHA081). This kit allows you to adapt your existing return air plenum so you can fit in a new air cleaner, if you don't already have the space. Instructional video also shows you how to use the kit to make your air cleaner installation go smoothly. You can view the kit here.

Efficiency Ratings: Based on American Society of Heating, Refregeration and Air Conditioning Engineers Standard 52.2, 1999
Initial Efficiency: 43% at 0.3 micron particles; 76% at 1.0 micron particles.
Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV): 10 at 492 fpm
Initial Dust Spot Efficiency: 61%
Initial Pressure Drop: 0.177 in. we at 492 fpm

Included in the Honeywell F200E1003 Box:
  • (1) Honeywell F200E Housing
  • (1) Honeywell Air Watch
  • (2) 3 Volt Batteries
  • (1) Bag of Screws
Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value

Rating system created for air filters with a scale that represents the worst case performance of a filter when dealing with particles in the range of 0.3 to 10 micrometers. The scale is from 1-16. The higher the MERV rating the greater the percentage of particles that will be captured.
