Prolong the life of your new air conditioner by adding this Refrigerant Filter Dryer. The Filter Dryer keeps your system's liquid refrigerant clean and dry, which is very important for proper operation. If there is any moisture in the refrigerant, it will turn into a harsh acid and dissolve the insulating varnish from the compressor motor windings, shorting-out the compressor and ruining your system. The Filter Dryer will protect you from this by removing the moisture. The dryer easily fits inline with the 3/8" liquid line connected to your condenser. 1.5 - 5 Ton Dryer for 3/8" for Liquid Line on Condenser (not to be used with a heat pump), and is compatible with CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants.
