Aprilaire UV Lamps are designed for evaporator coils in air conditioning and heat pump systems. The lamps will kill microorganisms growing on evaporator coils and drain pans and prevent further growth. When your air conditioning evaporator coil is “clean” the entire system works easier , which results in extended life, greater efficiency and lower utility costs. The units are designed for continuous lamp operation. Model 1910 is a Single Base Unit and Model 1930 is a Dual Base Unit. The units are 120 VAC / 60 Hz.
Because of this units ability to kill and prevent further growth of microorganisms, it may also reduce or prevent the following health symptoms: - Respiratory Allergies
