This high-efficiency 50,000 BTU/HR dual-wall model, with patented energy maximizing side-relief draft hood openings, will heat two or more rooms, quickly and economically. The unit mounts between two wall studs, and the vent (chimney) comes off the top center and runs vertically up through the wall. The furnace releases the warm air out of both the front and back, so it will heat two adjacent rooms on either side of the wall. Easy recessed or surface-mounted installation in homes, schools, cabins, apartments, offices and shops. Great during power outages, no electricity required. No need to purchase a thermostat, as these units are equiped with a self-generating millivolt thermostat that may be wall-mounted or cabinet-mounted. All models feature resettable vent-limit safety switch as standard equipment. Patented, side-relief vent design reduces flue gas temperatures and also reduces operating costs. It is top vented and equipped with an automatic thermostat, safety controls, "matchless" pilot igniter and long-life ceramic-coated combustion chamber. Unit comes from factory set up for natural gas. In order to operate on LP (liquid propane), the Williams 8903 LP Conversion Kit must be purchased seperately. Important Safety Notice: The surface temperature of wall furnaces can exceed 200°F.
