Thermal mastic tape is used to professionally seal duct work when enhanced surface to surface heat transfer would aid in system or component performance.  Sealing duct work saves money on heating and cooling costs by preventing air leaks.

Characteristics

• Indoor / outdoor use as a permanent, water resistnt sealer
• Provides an instant water resistant grip to most surfaces including sheet metal, duct board, flex duct, PVC coated duct and duct wrap vapor barriers.
• Approved for subgrade application on PVC coated duct.
• Aluminum foil backing may be painted with any paint recommended for aluminum.
