The Filter Dryer keeps your system's liquid refrigerant clean and dry, which is very important for proper operation. If there is any moisture in the refrigerant, it will turn into a harsh acid and dissolve the insulating varnish from the compressor motor windings, shorting-out the compressor and ruining your system. The Filter Dryer will protect you from this by removing the moisture. The dryer easily fits inline with the 1 1/8" suction line connected to your condenser.
