Bell & Gossett Safety Relief Valves are engineered in accordance with the requirements of Section IV of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code for Heating Boilers, and their capacities are certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.  B&G Safety Relief Valves are deesigned to protect fired hot water vessels against overpressure conditions.  B&G ASME Safety Relief Valves feature a unique fail-safe disc with sufficient area to permit the valves to maintain their safety relief function in the event of a diaphragm rupture.
