When I shopped around the local HVAC service companies, they all wanted about $900 for the installation, and told me that the units must be installed by a professional and would be too difficult for me to install, since I have zero heating, plumbing, or electrical experience. "Bryan is the epitome of customer service. He is arguably the most valuable employee you have as evidenced by my short story of how a good company can make a difference when things go wrong.

I was pleasantly surprised when you shipped the Honeywell TrueSteam humidifier and the Reverse Osmosis (R/O) accessory. Both arrived in two days - much faster than expected... I had an HVAC contractor to do the work... This is when my problems began.

The HVAC contractor cracked the shutoff valve on top of the R/O reservoir tank...

I contacted Alpine and was put in touch with Bryan. I learned that the company kept no spares, but he offered to contact Honeywell to identify the part number. When Bryan called Honeywell, he learned that they could not sell me the valve by itself since it was part of the R/O system... Bryan pressed the issue. He found someone that was willing to remove this valve from a test unit in their lab and arranged for Honeywell to send it directly to me."

My first call put me through to Joseph and my second call put through to Bryan. These two gentlemen are absolutely on top of their game. "Joseph, thank you for the great service in ordering a new gas furnace. I never expected a salesman to tell me I needed a less expensive unit. I was replacing an oil furnace with an LP gas furnace and since it was a 108k BTU furnace I was going to get the same size. Joseph asked the dimensions of the place being heated and he figured I would only need a 54k BTU furnace, saving me about $100 and no telling the additional operating cost. These Haier furnaces are a lot less than I had expected to have to pay for a replacement. It is 95% efficient and uses PVC pipe for exhaust. I had [a local contractor] do the installation of the gas lines and set up the conversion and gas pressures. I was telling the owner what I paid for it and he said that he would have paid $700 more locally...It arrived in 5 days in Seattle by air on Friday, the shipping company said that it would be delivered on Monday... I have told 2 contractors of the quality and service you may get from this company."
