Not only was the price reasonable, the customer service I received was outstanding. After not getting any power to the unit, I called Honeywell and was told that I needed to purchase a separate transformer to power the unit -- I knew this was probably not the correct answer. I then contacted Steve at your customer service line, and he walked through some troubleshooting steps that determined we had a problem with the wire to the receiver unit -- the connection to the terminal was loose. His patience and technical knowledge helped me to install the unit in minutes. Who would have thought that your reps would be more knowledgeable than the manufacturers!

The unit works just as the literature describes. I own a Whirlpool HE washer, and it doesn't seem to be offended by the minor sandwiching effect. I expected it to be much louder then it is. The fan can be heard but it is not loud or annoying. If it wasn't for the fact I could feel the heat in the water line after I first turned the unit on, I would not have known the burner had ignited - no roaring noise as reported in other articles I read. So far I couldn't be more pleased. I installed the unit with the recommended isolation valves to facilitate a regular vinegar flush maintenance routine, as my water is 85 grains hard and very hard on equipment as well."
