Dear Alpine, I designed and installed this HVAC / Heat Pump system in my own home with all top-line components. The Aprilaire unit is supplied with hot water, but the evaporative pad is not adversely affected. It works perfectly, even though the heat pump mode is lower temp air. Thanks for making it great!

I purchased an Aprilaire model 600 bypass humidifier at the end of March. It was shipped the next day and arrived several days later. Alpine sent an email with links to the installation instructions which I had also looked at on their website before I ordered the unit. The installation went as described in the DVD and the documentation. So far so good!

Here I am installing the hot surface ignitor I ordered for my Rheem furnace. It fit beautifully and, yes, it was that simple.
