Alpine has excellent prices and top-notch customer support. I installed the Aprilaire 600A over the weekend with zero plumbing or ducting experience. I hit a few installation snags along the way due to the fiberboard return plenum and the twisty route I had to take to the supply plenum for the bypass ducting, but Alpine’s customer support representatives helped me tie it all together. The end result is a few hundred dollars in savings and a professional quality install that I can be proud of!

I used a licensed HVAC technician to remove the Freon. Then I removed the old evaporator and installed the new Goodman from Alpine. With help from the downloadable instructions, email, and phone calls with the Alpine technicians I was able to also install both the TXV valve and the hard-start capacitator myself. The licensed HVAC guy vacuumed it and filled it back up to specifications. I saved a bundle. These guys are great. Thanks!

I recently purchased two air filters from Alpine, and I installed a replacement immediately. It was an easy job, especially since I had some help from our basement cat Boomer.
