The Alpine AHMG2R-B Series is a 95% AFUE downflow gas furnace built for manufactured and modular housing. This model delivers 45,000 BTU of heating input with a front return air configuration. It may be installed free standing in a utility room or enclosed in an alcove or closet, and is CSA design certified for use in the United States and Canada.

The MG2R-B is a condensing, direct-vent furnace and requires a concentric vent termination kit, sold separately. A coil box is not included; add the matching coil box to make the unit air conditioning ready.

• Managed blower timing: Fixed 30-second blower on-delay for warm air at start-up, selectable off-delay of 60, 90, 120 or 180 seconds, and a fixed 60-second cooling blower-off delay.
• 30-second post purge: Clears the heat exchanger after each cycle to extend its life.
• LP convertible: Converts to liquid propane with a burner orifice change and gas valve regulator adjustment. Orifices are included with the unit.
• Diagnostic indicator lights: A dedicated light reports flame signal strength and two lights combine to show fault codes directly, with no flash counting.
• Electrical protection: 3 amp fuse guards the transformer and control board against low voltage shorts. Low voltage terminal board simplifies field wiring.
• Easy open pawl latch: Holds the door firmly during transit yet releases easily for service access.
• Appliance quality door: Baked enamel finish resists rust and corrosion and wipes clean.
• Fully insulated cabinet: Minimizes heat loss and keeps operation quiet.
• Color coded wire harness: Quick-connect fittings throughout for faster service and component replacement.
