The Williams 9A331 converts a 25,000 BTU/h natural gas Williams Monterey top-vent furnace for installation from 2,001 to 8,000 ft. Williams rates its wall furnaces to 2,000 ft; above that, the burner needs a high-altitude orifice sized for the elevation.
The kit includes the orifices for all three elevation bands, so one kit covers any install site up to 8,000 ft.
APPLICATION FIT
Designed for: the Williams 25,000 BTU/h natural gas Monterey top-vent furnace 2509622A and the Monterey Plus 2509822, installed above 2,000 ft.
Skip it when: the furnace is installed at 2,000 ft or below, or it is a different size or fuel. Each Williams furnace has its own high-altitude kit.
