The Williams 9A332 converts a 35,000 BTU/h natural gas Monterey top-vent wall furnace for installation from 2,001 to 8,000 ft. Williams rates its wall furnaces to 2,000 ft; above that, the burner needs a high-altitude orifice sized for the elevation.
The kit includes the orifices for all three elevation bands, so one kit covers any install site up to 8,000 ft.
APPLICATION FIT
Designed for: Williams 35,000 BTU/h natural gas Monterey (3509622A) and Monterey Plus (3509822) top-vent furnaces installed above 2,000 ft.
Skip it when: the furnace is installed at 2,000 ft or below, or it is a different size or fuel. Each Williams furnace has its own high-altitude kit.
