This unit is designed to be paired with matching, multi-positional evaporator coils and third-party furnaces, and it can also be used with matching air handlers. For optimal operation when paired with a furnace, please ensure the furnace is two-stage compatible (look for two “Y” call terminals on the furnace control board). The system supports use with a programmable wall controller and is also compatible with standard 24-volt thermostats when configured appropriately.

Designed for low-output operation, the inverter technology allows the system to run efficiently across a wide range of conditions, helping improve comfort and overall efficiency when properly matched with compatible indoor equipment.

When paired with compatible indoor components and controls, the system may keep the indoor fan running continuously or at low speed, even when there is no active cooling call. This behavior can help promote more even air mixing and steady comfort throughout the home. Actual fan operation depends on the selected indoor equipment and control method.

For even higher performance, pairing the system with an indoor unit equipped with a high-efficiency blower motor can further improve overall system efficiency based on the matched configuration.
