Haier's Multi-Position Air Handlers are designed to be paired with split-system air conditioners and heat pumps.  They are durable, efficient, and allow for flexible installations since they can be used in an upflow, downflow, or horizontal right / left application.  Quiet, dynamically balanced blower wheels and a multi-speed fan motor minimize noise and enhance comfort.

These air handlers can operate with an air conditioner or heat pump in 2.5 ton or 3.0 ton.

This unit comes ready for use with 3.0 ton outdoor equipment that operates with R-22 refrigerant.  This air handler also ships with the orifices to be used with R-410A outdoor equipment.  If paired with a 2.5 ton  R-410A outdoor unit remove the manufacturer installed orifice and replace it with the included orifice #65.  If paired with 3 ton R-410A outdoor unit remove the manufacturer installed orfice and replace it with the included orifice #71.  We have an online step-by-step guide that shows how to easily change an orifice within 5 minutes.  If an orifice is included with your outdoor equipment, install that orifice into the air handler instead.
